How the shortcode works:
- Thulamama Foundation runs a premium-rated SMS line for the purpose of receiving donations and fundraising. To use the service: 1. SMS 'Mama' to 42030 (R30/SMS); 2. SMS 'Mama' to 49040 (R15/SMS); 3. SMS' Mama' to 42646 (R30/SMS).
- SMSs are charged at R30 per SMS, network fees and/or administration fees may be charged and free SMSs do not apply.

Requirements from WASPA:
- Network and admin fees apply

- Logic SMS and Bulk SMS are members of WASPA and is bound by the WASPA Code of Conduct.
- Customers have the right to approach WASPA to lodge a complaint in accordance with the WASPA complaints procedure.
- Logic SMS and Bulk SMS may be required to share information relating to a service or a customer with WASPA for the purpose of resolving a complaint. WASPA web site: www.waspa.org.za.
- Logic SMS and Bulk SMS has the right to suspend or terminate the services of any customer who does not comply with these terms conditions or any other related contractual obligations.
- Logic SMS and Bulk SMS has the right to suspend or terminate the services of any customer who does not comply with these terms and conditions or any other related contractual obligations
- Logic SMS and Bulk SMS has the right to take down any content (hosted as part of the service) that it considers illegal or for which it has received a take-down notice.
Cellphone Compatibility:
- A Cellphone registered on a South African network with access to SMS capability
- Cellphone will need a SMS application and sufficient airtime.
- Free SMS/airtime do not apply
The service will not be used by Thulamama Foundation to:
- intentionally engage in illegal conduct
- knowingly create, store or disseminate any illegal content
- knowingly infringe copyright
- knowingly infringe any intellectual property rights, or
- send spam or promote the sending of spam.
The terms and conditions for any service must not contain clauses that contradict the requirements of this Code of Conduct.
- The service must only be used with the permission of the bill-payer (for paid services);
- The service must only be used with the permission of a parent or guardian (for children’s services)

- Refunds
- Any refunds provided by members to customers will be provided either in South African Rands, air-time or any other form acceptable to the customer.
Refunds will not cause the customer to incur any bank charges, or alternatively Thulamama will compensate the customer for any bank charges incurred.
Refunds will be processed accordingly and updates will be provided timeously to the subscriber.
Thulamama Foundation NPC’s Subscription Billing Service is a automated billing service that facilitates a recurring billing on South African Cellular Networks.
Funds are deducted from available airtime or from existing cellular number or contract.
The service is subscription based, and as such, billing will only occur when the subscriber has completed the double opt-in process.
Subscribers are billed R100 Once Off
